The Rash is a 17th Century farmhouse with a south-facing garden, recently updated facilities and accommodation for at least seven adults.
Situated about one third of a mile east of the picturesque village of Muker in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the house is conveniently placed above the main Muker-Richmond road (B6270) which runs along the length of Swaledale. It is surrounded by meadows and boasts outstanding views all year round.
The house has a traditional and cosy feel with an open fire and typical farm pantry. There is a fully equipped and spacious kitchen with dining table leading through to a large sitting/dining room, complete with wireless internet and widescreen television.
Downstairs there is a shower room whilst upstairs there are four bedrooms, 1 double, 2 twin and a single, complete with bathroom. Oil-fired central heating throughout ensures agreeable comfort all year round whilst the open fire creates the perfect atmosphere for a cold winter evening.
Guests bring their own bed linen and towels, however comfortable beds, pillows and duvets are provided with a child’s cot also available. Heating, electricity, local phone calls and broadband are all included in the rent.
Unfortunately pets are not permitted due to the house being surrounded by farmland, often with grazing cattle.
